SPFHA U22 Purple Team Takes Silver
The U22 Windsor Wildcats (aka Purple Panthers) won the silver medal over the weekend at the Thunder on the Lake Lightning Classic in Lakeshore.
The team went 1-2-1 in pool play and were able to win the semi final game, before facing the London Devillettes again. The team fell 0-3, but held them off the board for the 2nd half of the game while applying some good pressure. The girls had some great chances, but couldn't crack the egg. London only allowed 2 goals the entire weekend.
The MVP mini stick was given to SPFHA goalie, Talia Wilson-Dyrda. Our Windsor Wildcats worked hard, had fun, and are now looking forward to the Windsor Wild Tournament in January.
