Sun Parlour Female Hockey Association is looking for a dedicated volunteer to join our Board of Directors in the role of Equipment Convenor. This is a vital behind-the-scenes position that helps keep our association running smoothly and supports players at every level.
The Equipment Convenor role is perfect for someone who enjoys organization, teamwork, and supporting the hockey community — no on-ice experience required! Beginning in January, the Equipment Convenor will start coordinating and preparing equipment for the upcoming season.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities Include:
• Maintaining a secure inventory of all SPFHA-owned equipment
• Issuing equipment to team managers, coaches, and association members
• Managing goalie equipment lending
• Ensuring all equipment is returned at season’s end
• Coordinating equipment purchases and standardizing apparel sales
• Obtaining travel jersey quotes every two years
• Coordinating Association Photo Day (photographer, date & venue)
• Overseeing cleaning and repairs of equipment as needed
• Attending Board meetings, AGM, and required association meetings
