The Sun Parlour Female Hockey Association is proud to introduce Coach Madi as an On-Ice Skills Development Coach for our U9 Skills Development Program.
Originally from Windsor, Ontario, Coach Madi is a product of the SPFHA system, having spent seven years with the Windsor Wildcats, followed by a season with the Southwest Jr. Wildcats. Her passion and dedication to the game carried her to the next level, where she went on to compete for four seasons in NCAA Division III with the Morrisville State Mustangs in New York.
While at Morrisville State, Madi earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, further strengthening her understanding of athlete development, movement, and performance. Since returning to Windsor, she has continued her academic journey and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Windsor.
In addition to her education, Madi remains actively involved in the Windsor Wildcats organization as an assistant coach with the U18 BB team, where she continues to mentor and support female athletes at a competitive level.
Madi’s combination of playing experience, coaching knowledge, and educational background makes her a fantastic addition to our development staff. Her role within the U9 Skills Development Program will focus on building strong skating fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the game in our youngest Wildcats.
We are excited to have Madi back where her hockey journey began and look forward to the positive impact she will have on the next generation of Windsor Wildcats.
