Wildcat Volunteers Needed for FUNdamentals Program
Sun Parlour Female Hockey Association is seeking Windsor Wildcat players to volunteer on the ice and support our FUNdamentals Program, held Saturday mornings from 8:15–9:15 AM at Forest Glade Arena.

FUNdamentals is the next step for young girls who are new to hockey and have recently enrolled in our First Shift Program. The goal of FUNdamentals is to continue developing their skills in a fun, welcoming, and encouraging environment, helping prepare them to confidently make the transition into Minor Hockey House League programs in Fall 2026.

This program provides a structured and positive introduction to hockey, with a focus on:

  • Basic movement skills
  • Skating fundamentals such as stopping and turning
  • Foundational puck skills including shooting, passing, and control

Above all, FUNdamentals emphasizes enjoyment, fair play, confidence-building, and a lifelong love of the game.

Wildcat volunteers play a key role in creating a supportive atmosphere for these young players. By skating alongside them, offering encouragement, and leading by example, volunteers help inspire confidence and excitement in our future Wildcats.

📌 Important Schedule Update:
The Saturday, January 24th FUNdamentals session will take place at Lanspeary Park on the outdoor rink at 1:00 PM, as part of our Outdoor Hockey Day festivities.

We encourage interested Wildcat players to get involved and help grow the game by supporting the next generation of female hockey players. Your time, energy, and leadership make a lasting impact — both on and off the ice.
