SPFHA is excited to announce that Candice Chevalier will be the U18AA coach for next season!
My name is Candice Chevalier and hockey has been a part of my life since I was eight years old. I started playing in the SPFHA and that’s where my love for the game took off. I played many years as a wildcat, leading me to play u22 Elite for the Southwest Wildcats and being grateful enough to earn a scholarship and play 5 seasons for the University of Windsor. I finished my career in Boston in pursuit of trying to make the former NWHL.
For the past 10 years I have been working at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital as a Kinesiologist in cardiac and stroke rehab where my passion has been helping patients rehab and improve their quality of life.
Through the years I’ve gained so many life skills, friends and valuable lessons both on and off the ice. I’ve coached at various levels from u9 all the way up to coach/train varsity/University athletes. I am currently coaching the U15AA Windsor Wildcats.
My philosophy is simple… help make these young women the best version of themselves and allow them to reach their full potential both as hockey players and as human beings off the ice. I plan to guide them and allow them to reach the highest level of hockey possible.
I am very much looking forward to coaching these young athletes and having a great 2026/2027 season. Bring it on!
